People ask... "How do you see yourself in 5 years....", “what is your dream?”, I want sound smart and say "oh earning thousands and maybe traveling..." but sometimes deep down, I really don’t know how I would do that… or how to get there…

I may think I am ambitious, cause girls like me are thought to be independent, and ambitious… and always having to know what to do… and having to do it just right… being the model daughter… a role model… good employee… all the stress… sometimes makes me want to be weak… and horrible… just to mix it up…

I am actually a very simple person, little things in life makes me happy. I am perfectly happy just sitting at the beach, listening to waves… or sleeping till noon… or listen to music… the little things… sometimes I just feel like just being silly and bimbo for just a few hours..

All in all, what is my dream?

My dream is to be happy… and to be able to make loved ones to be happy too…

Everything else is just a bonus…

Hi everybody... yes hiatus for 3 months.. I m horrible... I abandon my readers... and I abandon my friends… !!O.o

Why you may ask am I on this uber long hiatus??? for one I started work again :)... this time not as an intern but as a real contributing employee at Sony. Aw… It’s been a crazy since I start back work, it’s like the one month interval during Christmas, meant nothing to them and all my work was just left there to rot… so when I went back.. -.- I had to pick up the pieces…. After I was done with picking up the pieces, I had new responsibilities… so Sony has kept me really busy, it’s not like into the night or what… I leave work at a decent hour but when I get home… I am so tired I just want to stone in front of the TV, and rot.

Besides the tiredness, I was really uninspired to write anything, my social life meter dropped like a meteor burning into nothing and crashing on some unknown area and this doesn’t turn into some Roswell TV series, it just crashes… so it’s quite a routine life, makes me feel super old… really need to think about what kind of life I want to live, is this really how I want to spend my youth being?!?! Boring and uninteresting?!?!?!

N O!! I will not succumb to this!! I’m determine not to!!! I will start by attempting to revive my blog!! Really really really try…. Not some half ass job and end up not doing anything for my blog…!!

Dear Readers,

I know I have been on hiatus for almost 2 month… and my postings haven’t been very consistent.. A MILLION PARDONS!!!PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!! Know that I really wanted to post… but I have been really really busy with work… working with Sony has been both Exciting and Draining at the same time… which doesn’t really leave much excitement and energy for blogging or anything artistically productive.

Been trying my best to catch up with different people in my life… you know who you are… if you don’t… to sum up all the important people in my it would be all my family and friends lor… each and everybody in my life is important.. so yes I will TRY to make time for all.. please do start making appointments… and if you receive my invites for dinner… please don’t reject me please~~.. I really need all this makan time…

I can’t find a suitable sonnet to describe how much I miss spending time talking with my friends… I guess this is the price to pay for a job and a career… but is it really worth it?? Sometimes I wonder… if I would be happier just being poor but with loving friends by my side…

To update a little about me now… I m nearing the end of my internship and I am quite busy with the year end preparation for Christmas and youth camp… I wonder how I manage it all… maybe humans are just incredible that way… that we can stretch this much… we can achieve more than we think we can you know…

So yup… coming to the end of the year… isn’t it fast… this year feels like the fastest year… I still remember about this time last year… my mom was graduating… and in a blink of an eye… Yu Li is graduating and walking the same path towards that certificate of hers… sorry Yu Li for not being able to make it for you graduation… I will make it up to you… ask of me for anything for Christmas!! I will try and make it possible!!... And I promise to treat you to a great meal =D either I cook or I bring you out for a girls night out… you name it!

Happy Independence day Malaysia..I think it is something worth being proud about.. as a fellow Malaysian.. I am proud to be Malaysian. that out beloved country has come to far from the day they declared Malaysia as an independent country...

but sadly there are still people who think that some people don't belong in this Malaysia, some times i would wonder... what it really means to be a Malaysian? do we become Malaysian because we were born in this country?? or because we were raised in this country?? or because our forefathers we here first or second??... or do you become Malaysian when you adopt the Malaysian state of mind....

for me... i would say you are truly Malaysian.. when you start to love the country like it is your own... and i mean this is every aspect... when you truly feel for this country, the well being of the country and the people in it... then can you truly call your selves a citizen of the country... i have seen to many who think and say that they do not belong in this country because they don't feel welcome... then i would ask... can another person make you feel unwelcome in your own home??... or that you don't belong in your own home??... if the home is your home... i don't believe that anybody make you feel not belong in you own home... if there are problems in your home... i m very very very sure you would try your best to try and fix the problem... rather than kicking the problem out of the home.. i m not talking about a house... i m talking about a home...

you wouldn't let anybody just litter any where in your home right??.. you wouldn't let anybody hurt your family right??.. you wouldn't let any intruder invade and destroy your home right??...

Recovering from World Cup Fever

i wrote this post last week.. only uploading now =.= swt this is how bz i am..

World Cup ended.. and after 2 days i finally am in the right mind to post a blog post on it.. i think.. hahah

it has been quite an unexpected season i think... frankly i didn't really know any footballer... or had any knowledge about football.. but i was interested lol and there was this hype in the office about FIFA.. so i cannot help but be pulled into the hype too XD ... you know.. sony is one of the official sponsors =D... not bad huh... anyways yar.. my brother & i would go to mamak stalls to watch... and would go home from work and watch.. and when i went out with friends... Football would be the main topic.. you get sucked into this vortex of football talk.. and you can't help but be excited for random teams...

i didn't really pick a team to support till after a few games.. before the season started.. i wanted to say i was an Argentina fan.. but i didn't really know any of the players.. =.=" not really... hahaha.. anyways.. in the end.. i chose Germany to support!! cause.. 1. they have lots of hot guys..!! 2. they are so polite when they play.. i mean.. you dont see them walking around trying to pick a fight... 3. they are so cute when they hug each other after goals.. like brothers... oh yar i would classify this point in TEAMWORK.. yar.. 4. they are so patriotic!! during the national anthems.. they would sing.. and look like they really love their country and would die for it.. or in this sense... play football with all their hearts... but other teams.. just stand there.. like they could care less.. so.. i m into patriotic guys... just something about them makes me go crazy.. 5. they are just plain good =D ...

although they didnt win the world cup i still thing they are the best...3rd place is better than no place at all right??... you guys did great you deserve better but its okie... at least thomas muller got the golden boo~~ Go GERMANY!! .. haha i think thats enough about my world cup experience.. gah~~

oh paul the octopus should pay for predicting Germany will lose =.=" gah... but its okie... 4 yrs from now.. Germany is gonna be better and stronger... and hotter.. and i will be there waiting for them XD

Saw on the news that the CNN's Larry King Live is ending.. after 25 years...it finally happened... i remember last year... while i was watching CNN with my dad.. i was thinking to myself.. hey.. he is really old.. i wonder what will happen if he died or he retires... i mean.. he is too good.. and too familiar to be replaced.. it would never match up to the original.. would they come up with a totally new program... i guess there will be a big void there.. you can't really replace legends.. oh like Oprah.. =.= when she announce that the oprah show was coming to an end.. i felt a void too.. cause i have been watching it for years.. and seen how it help people.. hahah.. oh the one i remember the best is the one that taught women how to buy proper bras.. and how to wear them proper hahah... anyways!!!!!!

Youth Leadership Retreat june 2010

On 18th & 19th of June, RYAC had our 1st Leadership Retreat for the youth committee and the upcoming leaders... we had it at the most beautiful place I have been to for retreat so far... it’s at the Horizon at Port Dickson, you know how they say about Port Dickson having horrible beach and all.. i think this was fine.. of course it wasn't really a beach thing.. More like rocks, then sea... no sand.. hahaha... but it was beautiful.. Horizon is the perfect name for the place... because.. you could see the horizon right outside your window.. a perfect line separating sea from sky... yet again amazed by the wonderful creation of God...

sadly i missed the morning and afternoon sessions... cause I had to work on Friday... and apparently interns dont get to apply for leave when you are not sick or bed ridden or anything...gah!!

anyways after work... met up with miss Jessy and Mister Andersen.. =D and went straight to PD... it took about 1 hour to get there~~~ weee~~~ and we were just in time to see the orange sunset.. so beautiful... again.. was in AWE~ took pictures~ with my new company camera.. XD i m not giving face... they loan me and i m going to use it to its full potential.. XD ... weeee~~ 3 cheers for company loaned items.. oh.. i also got a Sony Vaio laptop to use for the time i m in Sony XD ... well its better than nothing at all XD ...

anyways.. back to the retreat.. the Dino group organized everything.. and planned the session... to help the committees to grow... and i am really thankful for all the hard work and time and effort and heart and everything lahh even money... you all really cared so much that you would plan for us =.= what?! who would do this?!!? for a bunch of monkeys!!?!?!...

(random note: i realize i ALWAYS use the word "anyways".. i wonder why...)

so.. the topics were much on issues of communication... conflict management and all.. this was one issue that strike us straight at the heart... cause personally.. i did feel this lack of communication... that things were not done properly.. and we didn't communicate anything to anyone.. kind of like loners... we are just doing our job.. and not discussing... probably fear of getting shot down.. or that people will disagree.. i don't know.. maybe we just don't like to have conflict.. cause we don't know how to face them...

the reality is... we don't care much for each other.. because we never took the effort to get to know each other... we just live in our own little world..not needing one another... and we never learn to commmunicate our ideas.. and never learn to converse with people... the next thing you know.. problems come because things are not done properly... and people get hurt because of misunderstanding...and in the end.. people leave bitterly...

kinda sad you know.. so yar.. we had this training to teach conflict management.. which is to resolve problems.. not run away from it.. not yielding/giving in... not always wanting to win... but yes... to sit down n talk and coming up with a solution for the problems... and to do that... we need to communicate....

all in all... if a committee or a group of friends don't talk.. we will never leave the level of acquaintance.. and to really come to a resolving conflict stage.. you need to have more than just quittance friendship....

well it all boils down to loving one another... =.= if we don’t love.. we don't care... if we don't care... we don't change.... if we don't change.. we will be the same old person and will probably be stuck in the same situations or problems for the rest of you miserable life....

God puts situation and people in your life for a reason... and i believe that in every situation.. good or bad.. you can learn something.. and there is always room to improve.. so don't be proud and say you don't need to change... cause.. there is always room for improvement and change....

Like a Dead Fish....

after 3 weeks of working, i have finally come to understand why people are so dead tired after a full day's work... i feel for you....

during my 1st week it was okie.. i could still blog and read news and lepak for a bit...so it was good and all... 2nd week i was given more responsibility but it was still okie.. i could still go home and online till about 11 or 12... but 3rd week... the tiredness finally sets in... and everyday i reach home... just like a dead fish... =.=" my head hits the sofa and after 30 mins of football... i doze off... can you believe it.. so i have missed quite a few match... or i watch bits and pieces of some match... like when my brother goes..."GOAL"... i get shocked out of my sleep and see a bit of the goal replays... then fall back to sleep.. sometimes i don't even realise that there was a goal.. thats how tired i got hahaha...

well.. i m blogging now XD ... so it could only mean i m quite free.. hahaha.... big boss came back from her holiday... i get my mundane life back for a little bit... before the havoc starts again i guess.. hahaha...

but overall... i have learned new things.. like how people do things in a company... you will be surprise at how many decisions managers and supervisors need to make in a day... all the little little things... that would eventually result in big things... rawr... but all in all.. i really thing marketing is the right line for me... the excitement and the date line... it may be stressful in the long run... but i guess i excel in stressful places.... hahaha...

all in all... i miss communicating with people... its kinda lonely to work in an office that doesn't allow facebook or msn....

The FIFA fever??

I m very sure everybody woke up today… with a fever… the FIFA Fever =D… even yesterday night… people were staying up late to catch the opening ceremony in Johannesburg, South Africa… sadly I couldn’t watch it LIVE… this morning woke up and watch some of the performance on Youtube XD… I watched the Alicia Keys and shakira performance… wooo their vocals were hot XD… okie as hot as they could go… Alicia sounded a little hoarse… but its okie.. she nailed it to the stage!! Y’all!!... anyways.. I had Goosebumps… hearing her sing the last part… the “…in Africa… in World Cup…” lol I dunno but it gave me a feeling of Unity… and all these different countries together in one place XD celebrating football… rawr~~~

Oh then I came to work… everybody is in some countries jersey… omg.. made me more excited.. I couldn’t watch any of the games… sad… anyways… I m sure there are other ways to celebrate the momentous occasion… like wearing the jersey… and all XD…

I remember watching in year 2002… haha.. that was like form 2… I think that was the 1^st time I actually sat and watched anything relating to football… hahaha... wonder who is gonna win this year…

Aih… if we can’t find peace in churches… from this kind of corruption… how do you expect others to find peace…

Rawr… just my thoughts… why are people so greedy??... you know.. if people are not greedy… this world would be such a wonderful please… Greed is root of all evil!!!!... =.= its very unbecoming you know… in every aspect of life… greed mess things up!!... I m so disappointed with this news mannnn… I know it has always been around… this problem of greed… from the beginning of creation… what can we do about it!!.. rawr!!!!

Say No to Littering =D

During Camp Cameron, one of the series was about Redeeming relationships with the world… and during the 1^st session of this series, we were asked to come up with things we think the world is concern about… one of the more prominent factor was Social Awareness, nowadays people are trying to be more concern about social welfares and problems that different societies and communities face on a day to day basis; to be conscious of the difficulties and hardships of society (Wikipedia: Social awareness, 2010). People nowadays tries to be more empathetic towards others, this is probably because people feel for other people, for example all the natural disasters and economic crisis… people start to come down to a more relational level… and empathies with different people regardless of race or gender or where they come from…

Like for example the disaster in Haiti in the beginning of the year… people all over the world came together… to help out… that was a really beautiful sight despite the obvious result of the earthquake… putting aside their differences and coming towards a common goal…

Oh and another issue people are concern about recently is about the environment… probably it’s the natural disasters… or the global warming effect… it has been really hot lately, the heat can give u a heat stroke… so people are becoming more and more aware of how our earth is starting to deteriorate… and well rightly so… we have a part in this world… and we should have a part in taking care of it…

I can’t stand it when people say things like “oh I don’t care about Malaysia, I m gonna migrate to greener pastures…” or “it’s just one piece of trash, somebody will pick it up…” or “somebody will do it… I just don’t feel this is my calling or responsibility...” or “omg Malaysia is the worst… it’s so dirty(but not doing anything about it…) if you are not going anything… the least you could do is not complain… oh and look at the Singaporeans… you don’t see them littering… either they are very patriotic or it is wired into their hard drive to not litter… Maybe we should impose rules too… I mean it’s good for the environment and we should start cultivating good habits for our future generations…

Why am I talking about all this??... dunno… just felt like blogging about this… cause had an interesting conversation yesterday about all this…

Practical little baby steps I think may work to help clean up our earth:

1. Don’t litter : you may be surprise how much trash accumulates in the drain… I have done clean ups before… I know… no wonder we have flash floods in KL all the time…

2. Pick up trash when you see them on the ground: you may be surprise… if everybody just pick up 1 piece of trash a day… there are 26million piece of trash that will NOT be on the ground…

3. Keep your trash till you see a trash bin: you know like during Pasar Malam… people just throw anywhere… sweatness… HAVE YOU SEEN the amount of trash after one Wednesday Connaught Pasar Malam…=.= insane amount of trash…

This is a community service message from nally =D don’t litter… maybe some other day we can talk about other charitable work you can do from home =D doesn’t need to be saving the world… the little things can make a difference too…

This morning I was reading CNN online… and came across this article about “is the internet making us quick but shallow?... apparently from reading the article, scientist have research to prove that “spending a lot of time with computers, smartphones, and other such devices weakens people’s ability to think deeply, critically and creatively.” …

When I think about it, it is true that we always just look at the good side of internet and using it to our advantage. For example, the links mounts or hyperlinks in the text… it actually distracts us… I am one of those people that doesn’t really read the whole text… just snippets to gage if I want to continue reading the whole article… I m lazy like that… and see!! This has cultivated the laziness in me… it is because I can read snippets that I don’t cultivate this habit of reading…

Furthermore, in the Malaysia we are living in today… we don’t really consider reading as a pastime… from a research done in year 2005 (I know the information is backdated), it says that those 10 years and above read about two books a year?!?!?! Which includes text books and work related books…and most of those who read books and magazines, read less than three hours a week… =.= are u kidding me?! … the older we get, the less we read… aih… I m ashamed for us… what has humanity come to…. Are we slowly becoming stupid and useless to he society…

Was chatting with Stanley Papa last night… he said that he has dreams of writing… books that will become classics… and I thought to myself… do people appreciate classics anymore??.... Cause just yesterday I went to MPH and I saw the classics shelf… some classics were on sale… only RM9.90 per book... =.=” and nobody is touching any of them… anyways… classics or not… we should start reading somewhere… I don’t claim to be a big book reader… but well I try to read more than 2 books a year…

Yes!! One of my resolutions was to read a book a month =.= I have failed I think… I only finished 4 books this year… and 2 of the 4 were rereads… I am a horrible person… its already june.. I am suppose to finish 5… darn it!... anyways.. I m blabbering away… for more on the articles and all click the links below =D

The new iphone 4, its finally out… since the 1^st time it leaked on gizmodo, we have all been very excited and anticipating the new iphone… and probably we have high expectations towards the new phone… haha… what with the secrecy and bizarre auto shut down of the phone that one time… really made me curious on what the phone can do you know… and since yesterday!!! Steve Jobs finally unveils the new iphone WEEEEE~~~… so excited… Steve said that “iphone 4 will be the thinnest smartphone on the planet”… it is already 24% thinner than the iphone 3GS… it has a glass back and metal sides~~ woooo pretty~~oh and its flat!!! And 2 cameras~ but that’s quite normal now a day’s… HD video recording and facetime video calling… how cool is that!!

Internship @ Sony

It has been a week since I started working here at Sony, for those who has read my previous post and all... you would probably know… for those who didn’t well now u know~ XD … been quite busy actually… working here has been quite fun… in my 1^st week… I was expecting paper work or sitting around doing nothing… but NO~~~ it is not how Japanese companies are…. They make you learn stuff… so on the 1^st day… I was made to read through the new papers… and magazines to find out more about Sony and what they did… then they made me go survey the outlets… which was quite fun for me… I get to go walk around mid valley and talk to strangers…

And then it was preparation for the new Alpha series NEX launch… it was quite rewarding though… to be helping out with such a big event… oh and have a 1^st hand experience at an actual product launch… I didn’t really get to go in for a good view of the entire event… or the speech… but the gist of it is that the camera is a semi-dslr and the new feature is that it has an interchangeable lens function… which is quite impressive…

oh it is suitable for girls I feel… cause its small and compact compared to the huge dslr… but then again… I am still a Nikon supporter… XD woohooo.. I m going to save money for the flash… no matter what… now the price has dropped to around RM700+ and if I pay by installment.. it is actually achievable… but neh… I m gonna save money!! I think 2 months of working could cover the cost… maybe… that’s hoping for you… hahaha…

last but not least... i wanna give all the praise and glory to God... for favour and arranging all this in His holy plan.... =D

Camp Cameron 2010

i know its a little late... but i guess this is as good a time as ever to talk about my experience at camp cameron 2010... today would have been sabbath in camp cam.. and i would have took time to reflect what happen in the week... and i am now reflected the after camp experience... what things are sinking in... what are the feelings that stayed after 1 week... well...

i think this was the best decision i made this year... to go for this camp... really helped me with some issues... and prepare me for the next stage of my life... God has been very good.. and arranged for me to go for this camp.. so that i can meet awesome people and learn from their life stories... and be encouraged by there experience...

well it was a 3 weeks long camp... no where else in malaysia can you find a camp like this... i really thank God for the family that i had in camp cam... the D'villians.... each and every one of my family member brings a different spice to the mix... and in the end... mixed together to form a really awesome pot of curry.. and without a single one of them... it wouldn't be quite as complete... really miss you all tons...

anyways.. in camp... i learned about God... about how he is like... and about how the Israelite in the bible forgot about God so many times.. but God still gave them chances... renewing his covenant again and again....

and through the different weeks.. we were dealing with issues of relationship with different people in our life.. now that we are back in the real world... what is it we have done.. to actually redeem the relationships in our life...

in the camp.. we learn to do lectio divina... which is divine reading.. they taught us different ways to read the word of God.. from wordilicious investigators.. and how we are to understand and interprete the bible.. and not just randomly reading and assuming...

oh the fun stuff in camp.. what with the leisures... and outings .. it was really fun... on top of the fun.. we get to spend time with terrific people.. probably you can see all the photos of events and outings we had.. its crazy fun...

i just hope that even after the camp, we would all be able to still keep in touch... and maintain this genuine friendship.... cause its a dog eat dog world out there... and i feel... friends like this is hard to find.... once you find them... you have to treasure them till the end....

all in all... i guess this feelings and memories i will take it to my grave if i dont get Alzheimer... or something.... this are precious memories in my life... memories that changed my life... and memories that brought lots of joy to my life...

D'villians, i miss u all tons.. i think i said that up there somewhere... but know that i really mean it.... i miss you all while i wash my plates alone... i miss you all while i sip my morning milk tea... i miss you all while i eat my bread in silence....

last thought... how do i wanna live my life now..... been working for a week... i wonder.....

Earth Hour 2010

some back dated news.. during the last semester, my dream of singing on a real stage came true~ thanks to Adeline and halfway kings.. even though i was just a back up singer... and a sessionist (meaning.. singing for just this one time... or sometimes other sessions.. but not being a part of the group officially =D) i was very happy to be given that opportunity~~ may be one day i can own the stage myself and be recognize for my talents.. *sigh* i wonder when will that happen... haha...

and well if i were to plan to be a singer... i don't think i know what genre i would sing... =.= cause i like all kinds of singing... and even if i do choose one kind... song writing would be really tough... *sigh* maybe i should have another dream... haha...

on a totally different note... the weather has been really hot lately... and i think its because of global warming.. so people, please do your part to save the earth... pollute less... we need to clean up the environment... and if by switching off electronics you can reduce global warming by a little bit.. why not do it... to give our tomorrow a better temperature... haha... i really can't go out in this crazy weather... its TOO HOT!!!!!

Reliving my Childhood

i have been watching lots of cartoons recently... maybe its because i am starting to feel old and all... or maybe there is this feeling that i didn't finish the series... or that i just wanted to find excuses not to study... haha but anyways... i started watching the pokemon series!!!!!! Gotta Catch'em All..!!

it all started in an CF committee email... keng cheng started all this pokemon talk... and BAM... it hit me.. i didn't get to find out what was the ending... (as some of you may know... i read books for the endings... =.= and since i didn't know what the ending was... curiosity overwhelmed me...) so i set out to find online streamed episodes of the series... found it... and got hooked... =.=

i m sorry dear readers... i have been on hiatus for almost a month i m sooooo sorry!!! been busy after the thesis.. with studying for finals... and after finals i had so many things to do.. like go for my final CPR (Committee Planning Retreat) for my Uni CF.... and after that... outings galore... and preparing for mother's day or Parent's day in my church... and i m gonna be gone for another 3 weeks.. starting next week!!! ... *sigh* what a busy life... sometimes i don't know why i put myself into all this... =.=" anyways.. just to update you people again.... yes yes... another quickie... i m so lazy ... i will try to blog more.. !!

went for my last CPR ever...it was the best one filled with laughs and a lot of crapping.. trip to Singapore - Paramore Concert - Part 2

Second day in Singapore~ and like well raised Christian Lady.. i went to church.. haha.. was planning to wake up early to go to one of those mega churches to visit.. but after a crazy 1st day.. Rachel and i decided that we should probably follow Bro Ong and his family to their church.. cause we were just plan lazy.. hahaha

so after church... we had plans to go orchard... BUT!! yet again because of our laziness... we missed the chance by taking a nap at home.. hahahahah wasted half the day...

anyways.. Landice took us to eat Katong Laksa~~ it was really Good~~ and i dont just say that about any food.. it was really not bad~ for a Singaporean Food.. XD if you all are near by there.. do go try it.. its worth the bus ride =D

after that it was the PARAMORE CONCERT!!!!

arrive around 6.30pm.. took our tickets.. and cam whored~ and after that went to line up ... the line was CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

was kinda disappointed they didn't sell Paramore Merchandise... was actually very looking forward to it... they were selling some t-shirts.. but it was S$40!!!... which after converted is about RM98.. the quality ain't that good either.. =.=" although i heard that it is actually real paramore merchandise... but i have never seen it on paramore.net.. maybe its sold out..

so anyways.. after they open the gates!!! went in the north entrance~ and there it was!!! the PARAMORE DELUXE BOX SET!!! .. which comes with a poster (which btw.. i forget to bring back.. its still in bro ong's house... darn!!) ... it was S$60.. but definitely more worth to purchase there... converted it was RM150... i saw on Paramore.net.. only 15000 copies were in existence!! and it was US$40.. which after calculating shipping cost and everything would be more than RM150.. yup i bought it~~~ and unboxed it at our sits~~~ woohooo

oh then they had this opening act... a local Singaporean band... blek.. -.- sorry but i didnt like them... boring my arse off.. =.=" i was there for only Paramore...

anyways the PARAMORE part of the concert was MIND BLOWING!! Its so awesome.. i screamed like crazy... i knew that they wont hear me.. but i screamed my little lungs out.. hahaha so did almost everyone in the concert~!! it was the best thing EVER!!

Trip to Singapore for Paramore - Part 1

Just got back from the trip to Singapore~~ it was really a jam pack trip full of crazy excitement... haha went down on Saturday morning.. this was my 1st trip overseas... without my parents.. and i was very excited.. couldn't sleep a wink the night before the trip.. haha... as you all my have known it was a crazy week for me.. what with the rushing of assignments and events and all.. wooo..

i should warn you.. i have tons of photos coming up... =D be ready.. its like a little documentary of my trip to Singapore.. XD oh i made a pledge before i went to Singapore.. that i will be a pure tourist and shamelessly take tons of photos...

our trip started at 6am.. to the airport~~ arrived earlier than normal humans would.. so cam-whored a lot...

then we reached Singapore at 10am.. and went to Bro Ong's house to leave the luggage.. then head down to Bugis to meet my friend Landice... he brought us around Bugis area~

my friend brought us to this Japanese Food Court in Poga (i dont really know the spelling..but it does sound like that...)

then we walked to Lasalle - collage of the Arts... next to MY STREET~~~ or close to my name.. Mc Nally Street~~~~~

the college was really Big.. and apparently it cost S$100mil to build.. =.= and the architectual was good~ cam whore opportunity....

then we walked to ILUMA for some aircond and more sight seeing hahaha... the ceilings were very artsy.. everything was artsy...

hahah... anyways.. i learn something during this trip... that arcades and cybercafe (they call them Lan-shops..) have totally different meaning here... people are all here camping to get toys and all... just to collect tickets.. and cybercafes are bigger than anything.. =.= i dont understand the obsession... one of those tokens are 50cent... its RM1.20 ... =.= and they are just using them like water.... wooo...

there are TONS of crane machine... with different toys... oh and not forgeting the ripples... this 16 squares dance dance revolution for the fingers... =.=

Went to the roof of Iluma to take more photos.. haha...

then we walked to Bugus Junction, it looks like those old building in Penang.. but well preserved and air conditioned...

walked all the way to Raffles City...

then walked under...citylink to Esplanade =D there were SOOOO many stores.... just a random thought.. do you think Singapore will capsize because of too many shopping malls... ANYWAYS!!!
Esplanade is BEAUTIFUL~~~ its function is just like our MPO and they are even showing Pink Martini too.. haha.. btw~ have i told you.. i m going for the Pink Martini show in KL MPO.. haha

anyways back to the point... we were waiting for the sun to set to get a better orange feeling.. but was talking and missed the sunset... nevermind then we went to Marina Square for a Kareoke session sponsored by Landice Kor.. haha.. working people sure are nice... haahahah

went to operasi-Gegar last week.. it was good.. "those with ears let them hear...." lol we need to go out there and spread the good news... and bring us to better awareness of our brothers and sisters in this country... we have to look past the appearance and understand each other to be able to share to one another... well i pray for a united Malaysia one day... and i hope its in my generation... i really pray that i can see it one day... Malaysia rising up to be a mighty nation for Jesus... =D

and today i will talk about one that i see everyday.... people who are picky with their food... i can't stand that... not when you know there are 1billion Children living in poverty out of 2.2billion children in the world... Statistics from Global issues.org ... and here we have people who are picky... in a way discontented with what you have on your plates... its really sad really... we should appreciate whatever we have... victims of the earthquake with no home to return to....

i know its old news... after 11 days... i didn't know how or what to blog... its really a sad thing to hear that because of a sudden earthquake.. around 100,000 to 200,000 lives were claimed... and many injured and homeless... really saddens me... and there is nothing that could prevent it.... this really reminds me of the tsunami in Aceh, Indonesia just a few years ago...

with an earthquake magnitude of 7.0...its the strongest in 200 years for Haiti...

we are marching in this year with a lot of minor notes... it really makes me think... how can i make this year a really life changing one.... how can i make a difference and make this world a better place... with so much sorrow... i really don't know.... all i know is... at this times of sorrow and need... we really really really need God.... He is the only one that can comfort... He is the only one that can fill the empty void of lost...

as a Christian, we really need to pray for our brothers and sister in Haiti, for peace and comfort... i really appreciate those that went to Haiti to do relieve work.. it is very brave of you all to go...well thats all for today's post...

Rock Climbing in Putrajaya =D

went rock climbing with Ping Hean, Shawn, Burhan and Mun chin.. haha this is the 1st time i m climbing a full scale Belaying.. haha thanks to Shawn for teaching me how to tie the ropes and make the knots and the commands =D

so for my 1st time.. no i didnt follow any routes... i just stepped on anything... =.= and its already hard.. darn it!!!... =.=" but it was fun to be at the top... because we had only 3 harness.. we didnt really get to climb a lot.. so darn it!!!... yes i shall buy my harness soon.. when i start work or something.. hahah... and the shoes... wooo.. *money fly away* ....

Shawn hanging vicariously there... while mun chin disturbs ping hean.. lol

anyways then we watched shawn do the Lead wall.. =.=" wooo so dangerous man... i tell you... it looks as if he is gonna fall anytime and!! he did fall ... 3 times.. and on the 3rd or 4th try.. he broke one of the handles.. =.= or rock thing.. i dunno what you call them... but yes!! while climbing.. the thing broke.. woooo... Putrajaya... aren't you glad shawn went and try it out and found the defect in time.. who knows what will happen if he didnt find it.... somebody else might have found it and broke their neck and sued you.. =.=" tsk tsk tsk hahaha

but all in all!! it was a fun experience for me.. i learn something new!!! hopefully i remember all the command =.= ... belay on the ready?? i think... and .. on rope!!... woooo i dont remember!!!!

Reunion with the YES people~

just came back from YES(Youth Enrichment School) Alumni night thing at BCM (Bible College Malaysia)!... yes after 4 years this is the 1st time i went back for the alumni thing... woot!! YES 2006!!... in my opinion the best Batch.. and the most well behaved batch of people.. we were tame... compared to the other years... Quoted from Pastor Lisa "they get rowdier by the years"... or something like that i dont really remember the exact words...

sadly only 9 appeared for the alumni night

anyways.. had a nice time catching up and fellowshipping with the 2006 YES people.. and my dreams of a total reunion on facebook just got crushed when i couldn't find the group photo we took last time.. T_T ... i think it all got lost when my computer crashed about 3 years ago... now i can't upload and start tagging people on facebook.. the HORROR .. !!

but on the bright side!! i found a video!!! its not very clear bit it works i guess.. hahahah

yes i have decided this morning, i should probably blog about my favorite band of all time... PARAMORE... cause i realized i have never really blogged about them.. and how could i not blog about them.. they are my favorite.. i love the sultry voice of Hayley~~ and the awesomely composed lyrics and music...

i first heard their music in their earlier days... my brother introduced them to me back in 2004 or 2005.. back then i was fascinated by the song Pressure.. it was the 1st song i ever heard from Paramore... then i fell in love with the band... with their album "all we know is falling"...

then in in 2007 they debut in the mainstream with "Riot!" it was a new and improved sound and it was very different from what you would normally hear on the Radio station in Malaysia... =.= its something that you can sing too and feel great after jumping around to the songs.. haha...

for people who has sat in my car long enough you would have realized i have Paramore in my car... lol 2009 started with me addicted to "Final Riot!!" ... and ended with "Brand new eyes" ... its none stop Paramore... and in 2010!!! i m excited!!! because... yes!!! PARAMORE IS COMING TO SINGAPORE!! well its not exactly in my turf.. but its close enough to take a bus to.. and well its my final year as a student... i pledged to live to my extreme!!! and enjoy my youth hahaha... so!!! yes on the 7th of March 2010...

went and watch Avatar last week.. i wanted to write a review a few days ago.. but didn't come around to actually writing it... until now... i feel sad hearing people are getting depressed after watching the movie...link to the CNN news

while.. for me.. after watching the movie.. i felt that i enjoyed myself in the 3 hours in the cinema.. of course i did feel feelings of sadness and longing for the world of Pandora... but after the movie.. i felt happy =D that people are capable of writing such a beautiful story... i guess people would also be capable of loving one another and trusting one another...

just like in the movie... Jake is from another world... can he was eventually accepted by the natives... i guess this shows that even though we are different from each other... there is still hope for us to live together and understand each other... once we understand each other... then we can have growth... cause you don't build anything over night.. just like friendships need time...

as for the beauty of Pandora, hey people... we are living in a beautiful world.. and its about time we learn to appreciate and enjoy it... =D

and for the depressed people out there.. =D cheer up... and make the most of your life... you can be surprise how little things you do can influence and impact others... =D just by smiling.. you might have made someone's day =D

Sherlock holmes 2009

i think i finally have time to write a review or what i thought about this movie....

sherlock holmes is fun to watch =D not horrible... has a story line... some humor... actually i think its more entertaining than suspense.. =.=" i mean.. maybe reading the actual story would be more mysterious... well of course the movies can never compare to the original books =D

but all in all.. the actors really acted really well i think =D ... like the villain... i m convinced he is evil even in real life... he has the look... and during the movie... i was really spooked by him... i mean the things he says... and the expression... evil i tell u evil!!! ...

oh and i dunno... Robert Downey Jr. looks a little too hot to be Sherlock~ haha... you know i always had an image of Sherlock as this neat, coat-wearing, magnifying-glass-holding, clean and probably scrawny... but Robert whoo... i definitely prefer this version of Sherlock.. more cool...

and Rachel McAdams she is so pretty~~~~ there is something about women that can pull off Red~ hahaha.. and she so doesn't look her age... she is actually 32 this year.. can you believe it?? she acted in other films too... acted as a teen in Mean Girls... hahaha anyways.. in this movie she was this women that out witted sherlock~~~ and i think she did a good job acting it larr... maybe i was to intrigue by her beauty.. haahahah and probably the Diamond in the movie...

anyways.. i give it a 8/10 for being entertaining ~

okie maybe i am a little slow to report this or to comment about this... as you all may have heard on the news that there are reports of Churches being burned and vandalized... its very sad to hear about this kinda things happening in a country where just last year the theme of being "one" as a nation was shared... did nobody understand the message of 1Malaysia????

and i thought we are in a country that people will respect each other or at least be courteous to one another... i cannot believe people would actually be so petty and to actually try to burn down a place of worship of another person just because you are not happy about something -.- ... there are better ways of expressing anger or lack of satisfaction on what ever... rather than vandalism... why couldn't they just write a blog post or discuss about it with the right authority...

my lecturer said that the government is trying to divert the attention of the citizen from a greater problem.. probably a financial or economical issue..

anyways... in my point of view... the issue of the Allah word used or not used in Christian context... you can say what i might say is naive but i really think that the word "Allah" is just another word... the most important thing is the meaning... in my opinion i think that they can take the word... the fact that God is still the real God... that is what really matters to me... and besides... God has many names... i don't even understand why people are so fixated with making it exclusive.... it's like saying the English language is only exclusive to the English people.. i don't understand... am i being to naive...?? is there really a need for all this argument??

anyways.. Good things that came from all this is that churches are united and brought together to pray for our country =D and we see people from other race and religion coming to offer their support and helping hand... maybe there is still hope after all.....

lets continue to pray for Malaysia... for peace among the people...

i just realise that .. after what.. 3 years?? i have only just about reach 200 post.. while some people blog about 200 post a year -.-" its not that i dont have things to blog about.. i am just not really creative in arranging my words so i dont sound dumb or boring -.-" haha... but i guess i should try harder this year.. to blog more.. maybe blog at least twice a week...... regardless if there was anything blog worthy.. cause.. all in all this is to document my life.. and if my life is boring.. i should at least record how boring it is.. hahahah...

well as for the 1st 11 days of the new year... it was actually quite eventful.. the 1st 3 days of the year.. i spent it with awesome people... to plan for the upcoming CF program for new semester... with 3 new committees this time around.. welcome charity, Joanne, and Andrew =D to the family of wacky people who loves God and are passionate about the people in UCSI.. (regardless of how awful we think the university is...)

after being in the committee for almost 2 years.. i feel like its time to let go slowly.. cause i m afraid... i wont get used to it when i graduate on April.. wont get used to the idea of not being a part of something special.. just thinking about it makes me sad... is it crazy of me to be afraid of graduating or what comes with it... afraid that you will lose touch with your friends.. because you are in another stage of life... or because time doesn't allow.. aiya.. -.- what am i doing... i should be happy i m moving on to the next stage of life.. haha...

anyways.. to the CF Committees.. even the ones who are not in the committee anymore.. those that i have served with... i really really want to thank you all for all the support.. the advise and all the love and attention you all gave me.. lol you all know i m sorta an attention seeker... and you all still stuck with me through thick and thin.. haha.. really a privileged serving with you all =D i know i m suppose to make this speech at the end of the semester -.- but who cares.. i m just musing over this thought...

2010 Resolution =D

its that time of year again.. time to review the previous year's resolutions and see how many i have accomplished =D

The list for year 2009!!
1. ~~Be more optimistic... or less emo.. =) ...~~ relatively optimistic~ i feel i have grown up a little and learned to look at the world a little differently.. XD Brand new eyes - cue Paramore music!!
2. ~~Encourage people more as oppose to putting people down...~~ relatively more encouraging.. i think i scold people less and stop myself from letting people down more often.. XD
3. lose a few KGs...to be specific i wanna be 50kgs..(impossible..) lol.. exercise more...be healthy.. maybe sleep early... opsss didnt happen -.- forget it...but i did start running.. and exercising and cutting back on sugar.. but i didnt lose the weight.. sad...
4. Read the bible ... at least try to read everyday.. lol.. does alternate days count?? ... if it does means i achieved it half.. =.= still have to work on this...
5. Be patient... relatively more patient that last year.. XD calm and collected is my new thing.. XD
6. ~~find humor in everything... =)~~ i have been very humorous this year i guess XD
7. ~~Do well in my studies.. i m not greedy... Bs and the occasional A is fine by me.. i m after all going in to my 3rd year.. it is not that easy ok?!~~ all in all.. i think i did well =D i have As and Bs.. but with i think 1 C... sadness...
8. Keep my room clean at all times... or at least clean it once a week =) DIDNT HAPPEN.. -.- sorry....
9. ~~Learn to love and accept other people's flaws..~~ yes.. i think i did this... slowly but surely.. i have learned to forgive people.. and accept them for who they are...
10. do fun things.. like maybe bungee jumping lol... ok maybe not.. i m afraid of heights... err.. maybe learn to swim?? lol and go diving?? hahaha... ok ok don't restrict myself to things i don't want or cannot do.. lol...hmm i did learn to rock climb a little.. although i dont have the upper body strength to go do anything professional.. i think i have tried something new.. and i shall continue with the trying something new theme... like try making videos.. try doing more covers.. and what not... XD

can i say i have done 50%??

i know people always say its stupid to do resolutions.. and they always say we will never do it... i beg to differ.. at least i can say after 1 year.. i can say i have a goal.. and i have done something with the time i was given.. and really .. i wanna praise God for every bit of it... the happy the sad.. the success and the failures... every experience helped me to grow up..

5. be financially independent by the end of the year.. or at least dont ask for allowance by the end of the year... meaning i will be working and all...

6. Bring 2 people to Christ... or at least pray for 2 people to know Christ... it doesnt matter if i m not the one who rips the harvest =D

7. get into shape.. exercising more..

8. reading at least 1 book a month..

9. Try something new...

10. Travel to at least 3 places..

lets pray that i will accomplish most of it lar huh.. XD

1st of December ... beginning of the Christmas month for me... i love Decembers... my favorite time of year =D .. although Malaysia has no snow... but i still love the Christmas time.. shopping~ and the crazy Christmas Carols.. the decorations and all.. makes me happy for some reason...

anyways.. today was a good day... woke up late in the morning, went out on a secret mission to get flowers for my mom's graduation tonight... walked around in Petaling Street reminiscing over the time i was studying in KL... went for the famous porridge in Petaling Street...

then left for the "BIG BAD WOLF BOOK Sales" at amcorp... i m sure a lot of you went for the book fair...any thing with the word SALES in it... count me in~ for RM8 a book.. its a steal... i bought like 13 books..a few of those were hard covers wooohoo =.= totally couldn't control myself... but hey i saw people with more books than me... i already cut down from 20 to 13... but for a total of RM104 for what would normally cost me anywhere from RM500 - RM700.... isn't that like awesome~~ the feeling of having so many new books was bliss... (mostly girlie books.. i don't even know if they are any good but hack~ they are books~ time to hide from the world and start reading~)

after that... went for my mom's graduation =D mom i'm so proud of you...

all in all it was a Good day =D... i went for a day of ME-time.. and witness the graduation of my mom.. =D

Yesterday was my Grandma's 76th Birthday~~ yes an auspicious day in the Sim Family.. yes my mom's side.. hehehe.. went to eat at the Overseas Restaurant at Jalan Imbi.. whooo i know how to drive there adi... anyways... the family came to my house in the afternoon to have a pre-dinner party.. haha.. and everybody changed for dinner... trying to look their best.. well at least the female of the family are larrr... XD ... and the kids....

whoo the dinner was really Good... but for the price we are paying per table.. it ought to be lar....

(wait when have i watched this before.. ohh "the knowing.." which creep me out a little.. what with the bald dude abducting humans) anyways.. the story is very typical and cliche... you start of with a bunch of scientist finding out we have so-and-so time left till the earth explodes... then to find out that their calculations going wrong.. and all hell breaks lose... there will always be a side story of this kid's bittersweet relationship with the father that didn't have time to get to know him... then the typical scene of the re-kindling of the relationship between the two ex.. and the convenient death of the ex-wife's lover... then at the end... they end up together having good memories of the guy that died saving the family but isn't the main character of the story... ohhhh not forgeting the hot blonde that eventually dies.... XD

typical mix of all the other movies... you have the crashes... the car chase... the kissing scene that are just not the right time.. and the happy ending... if only life was so exciting.. XD overall i like the movie.. because it made me hold my breath is many scenes the suspense of the movie.. what with the action and the graphics wooo... overall a good movie lar.. just that... its a "the world will end and there is nothing we can do" kinda feeling..

but seriously... if lets just say.. we know that the earth will end in the year of 2012... what 3 years from now... it makes me think.... what do i want to do.... am i living my life that counts??.. am i making a difference in the world... am i living up to my full potential?? .. well i haven't and i should.. there is too many things i haven't done.. and so many people who doesn't know God yet lar..

okie now nally get a move on... dont waste time!!! start by doing your thesis girl!!!! XD

its been what.. 2 or 3 weeks into the holiday.. been feeling kinda useless and bored.. so decided to get a part time job.. so thanks to the people who introduced me a few part-time job~~ yes i have found a part time job XD...

spent the entire day making phone calls and marking questionnaires... =.= but i guess by the end of the entire experience.. it will all be worth it.... $$$$... i m eying on the nikon flash... wooo if i play my cards right.. i might actually be able to afford it by the end of the year.. XD...

Holiday 2009: Part 4 - Steamboat with the chi-muis

lol.. another totally random steamboat thing.. jolene suddenly comes to me and say.. ei ei we go eat steamboat lor.. and i was like.. oh okie.. and there we were... poh mien, jolene and i....

yum~ all for a cheap cheap price of RM23.10 per person.. =D all you can eat buffet-bbq-steamboat.. with meats from every edible animal that is sold in the normal wet market... no.. not black market... they dont sell baby meat or anything.. not that i m into those stuff.. i find it repulsive.. anyways~~ steamboat... yes there were beef, pork, chicken, lamb, seafood galore, which includes, scallops, prawns, lala, crabs, bamboo lala, mussels, tons of shelled creatures which i dunno the name of... wooo... we stuffed ourselves silly... =.= totally full and fat man...

yes you can make reservations there.. so the number is there on the wet tissue =D

Holiday 2009: Part 3 - All American Rejects Concert!

The Holidays are here and i m determine to enjoy it to the fullest =D.. so last Saturday was Halloween... don't really celebrate it.. but hey~ theres a lot of parties and things going on... at 1st i didn't think i was going to the All American Rejects concert.. then after the exam.. and being totally liberated.. decided to go after all XD ........ Thanks to Joseph for the tickets! .. i get to go to my 1st concert.. can you believe it.. after 21 years of being in this earth.. 1st time going to a concert.... haha

when i reach... the line was LONG... there were like thousands of people there already.. =.=" look at that man... when they finally open the gate people were jam pack and the traffic was sooooo slow...managed to squeeze in with JC... while the other, Charity, Amelia, Joseph and their friends... went in later...

how do i describe the experience... there were so many people.. i almost suffocated... got pushed around like a doll.. got knocked over by crazy people... wooo it was crazy... but i guess thats the concert experience.. but the performances were awesome!! by Disagree, PopShuvit, One Buck Short, and of course ALL AMERICAN REJECTS!!!...

AAR performed like 10 songs.. i think.. i didn't count.. even songs from their old albums!.. like Swing Swing Swing, dirty little secret~ and many of the current album singles~ wooo... when i got home.. i had a migraine from all the screaming... but it was worth it.. lol..

after the concert.. i was so dehydrated ... i drank 2 bottles of nestle yogurt =.= like crazy man... whopping them down like i didn't drink for years... and ohh.. Malaysians are so dirty~~~ look at the trash!!.. it was like that ALL over.. from Clappers.. to Trashers..

thats all for my experience of concerts .. hahahaha all in all .. it was a good experience...

Holiday 2009: Part 1 - the Spontaneous Malacca Trip

hahaha.. i m sorry everybody... now only update my blog i m so so so so sorry... but you should be happy to know!! i m on holiday now!!!!! just finished my short semester... sorry it took me till now to update about my holiday... but my holiday started a week before my final exam hahaha... had a spontaneous trip to Malacca with Joanna, Janice(marmie), Lam, and Kelvin.. hahah

We stopped by in Seremban, we went to eat the famous dim sum in Seremban, Min Kok with Adeline =D

then we went to Malacca, wooo it was so hot.. Jonker Street was packed =.= thats what happens when u go on a Deepavali weekend.. saw a monitor lizard.. cam whored a little~.. went and eat the famous candol... we heard a foreigner describe candol as "shaved ice with weird green thing.." lol.. so funny...then after that.. we went back.. relaxed and enjoyed the air-cond a little.. then went for a swim and enjoy the breeze for little.. XD

then at night we went and eat Satay Celup =D yum yum ~~ then went to Friend cafe to sit and drink coffee and tea and juice and played Jangga! (did i spell it right??) rawr.. i lost.. =.= even with my superb skills in taking the side ones... ish... but then its okie!!!

oh then we went back.. to play Cluedo.. we forgot to take photos... =.= cause too engross with the game to bother... next day we woke up.. ate breakfast.. then went back to pack.. and went and eat nyonya food!! woohoo.. then went home.. wooooo.. it was a fun trip lar... we should do this more often..!

this was from last week's devotion.. but i really felt i should share this.. didn't really have time to blog... now that i have i should haha

this verse really strike me... because i was slowly losing the reason for my serving in church and caring for the well being of my friends... and through this verse... it kinda gave me a boost?? to love one another... greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends... Jesus laid down his life for me... the least i could do is to love others...

and my reason for being wherever i am.. is to bear fruit.. and the reason for my serving is in accordance to our Father's plans... to bear fruit... yar.. God really works in strange ways lah... i should serve with the joy God gave me... and the love that he bestowed on us... not just wasting it on myself.. but to share it around haha...

with this new found perspective... i don't feel tired serving others... because i know the strength does not come from me.. but my Father... =D and oh i love the phrase "the measure of love is what one is willing to give up for it" ... if Jesus is willing to give up life for me.... why couldn't i...

Filling the void

yar yar.. i had lousy mood the pass week.. maybe PMS... or something... anyways... tried to compensate by hanging out with my friends.... and i really thank God for people like them.... makes my life less empty... in the midst of assignments, meetings, and cleaning my room.. i get to have slumber party, watch movie, food and company...

went to sing karaoke with Wendy, Hui Yeng and Mei Yen.. was kinda moody.. so what better way to release than to sing my heart out... rawr....

next was the impromptu satay trip with adeline, joseph, charity and Marmie Janice... haha... what other better way to drown a misery with greasy SATAY~~ its my comfort food... you have no idea the bliss i feel.. then i eat satay... haha...

then marmie stayed over my house... pillow talked till late... what better way to pour my soul out... than to have a heart to heart talk to my "call center marmie"... thank you marmie.. you have no idea how much the things you said helped...

had 2 days of UCSI clubs day... i tell you... UCSI students are oblivious to the happenings in the uni... their life revolve only around their house and the classroom...

anyways... we had cf committee meeting....then after the committee meeting that day... randomly decided to bring henry go curtain shopping.. i tell you.. there were so many ugly curtains to choose from..its so hard to choose... and worse when you have a budget to keep to... but in the end we bought curtains.. i expect the curtains to be done soon.. haha... henry needs his curtain to sleep in during the weekends... lol

and last but not least...... the Independent project... i m so disappointed.. when all the competent lecturers are not in the list of supervisors... so freaking sad man..... all my plans for an awesome IP title... down the drain... =.= well i have to make do i guess.....any suggestions?

oh went and watch "the ugly truth" with adeline~ no photos.. but well the movie is nice~ i love it.. but well its the ugly truth.... that man look at the appearance... and they wont even spent the time of day bothering if you are ugly... sad but true... haiz~ its like hopeless for people like me..

well all in all.. i guess my moodiness came from me being lonely lar... well.... i can't sit around and cry all day... i have to do something about it... so.. "nally stop being emo... and do something about it..."

the committees did an awesome job preparing for the camp =D good job guys and girls..

what i have learned in the last sem... well its the 1st semester of year 3... and its tough lor... took Strategic Marketing, Strategic Management, Multinational Finance, and International Business... in UCSI.... your award for your degree is measured by 20% of you year 2 grads and 80% year 3 grads... so yes our year 3 is very important... and its stress to think that way okie!!!...

so anyways... this sem was tough for me lar... assignment grouping was weird... i got matched up with very diverse people... people that i would normally not want to be paired up with... but i really thank God for the opportunity to learn ... learn to be patient with people... and learn to handle different people and situations... assignments were NOT easy at all... its tough... there are more readings to be done... but all in all... tough is good... it means i m being challenged... and now that it is over and done with... i am very happy!! cause i m very certain i can conquer anything i m faced with.. cause i know God is there for me... and that he will give me wisdom to survive through it all... hahaha...

well during finals.. woooo it was intense.. but at the end of the day... result were good.. well its not like all A or anything.. i am an average student.. got an A for marketing!! woohoo.. all the hard work was not in vain... !!!

at the end of the sem... i really want to thank a few people.. who help me with my studies... all my group members... and especially a special thanks to michelle wee ai lin.. who stuck with me through all the crazy midnights.. and crazy study session for finals.. where would i be without you girl... hahaha.... and marmie (janice) who has adviced me on my assignments and stuff =D... thanks marmie~...

on 15th August 2009 the Fishes went to MPO to watch Preservation Hall Jazz Band... the performance was awesome~ and the company was great!!! it was during the final exam week but we prevailed!!! totally had a great time talking and snapping pictures and watching a real life Jazz Band from New Orleans wooh!!! i swooned~ i mean seriously i really want a musician husband next time... cause for one he could sing to me... all the romantic songs that makes your heart do a flip... and play music while i sing along~~~ wouldnt that be great....

anyways... i love spending time with the fishes~~~~ you guys and girl are awesome... do u know that??.... my life in uni would be that much more boring without you all ..

totally sorry for neglecting my blog =.= ... been horribly busy... hehe... sorry.. i m STILL busy.. but i m procrastinating.. i don't want to do my assignment... so.. i m distracting myself by blogging =D...

although i have been busy... but did manage to watch movies ~~~ like.. 17 again, transformer 2, ice age 3, and even got a chance to eat carls jr (the burgers are really as big as your face... ) for the 1st time in my life.. thanks to michelle hahaaha...

anyways i feel time pass so fast.. suddenly midterm.. then suddenly... rushing for assignments... then suddenly you hear people graduating... and making plans... and suddenly finals are around the corner.... i m so afraid i miss events in people's life... i want to be there when everything happens.. too bad i cannot be in 10million places at once...

anyways.... what i have been doing... well.. for one.. i have been very busy with the marketing assignment... its hard to coordinate humans... especially when there is a language barrier.. ... then theres the strategic management subject... and multinational subject.. and the stupid international business.... its a miracle i m still alive...

well.. then theres all the meetings... youth camp meeting lar.. friends that need my time-meeting.. my youth need my time.. my family need my time... my dog need my time... worship team need my time.. =.=... so many things... sometimes feel down =.=.... then there is all the talk about future.... and time seems to pass so fast.... next thing you know ... its the working world and all... =.=" i have to admit.. i m very terrified.... i dont know what to expect.. and the thing at the back of my mind.. keeps thinking if i am prepared... am i going to wilt ... and you know.. lose myself... lose my spunk..

well its that time of the semester again.. the time when i feel frustrated, angry, empty, hungry, emotional, moody and lost all at the same time... and i don't know why... i mean maybe cause i always try to be cheerful and upbeat =.= when i actually just wanna die and sleep... or maybe cause of the pressure of studies and assignments and all... now is the midterms season after all... aiya.. i am just stress la i think.. =.= and i think i m a stress eater... meaning i eat when i m stress.. =.=" which is a bad thing... and sometimes i feel .. that .. why do i have to always be smiley so that people won't think i have a problem... people can be moody and still be normal right?... and pretend to be happy all the time is damn tiring.... i just wanna be however i feel.. but then there is a risk of me lashing out my temper like some crazy person.... haiz... why is it so hard to be human.... i don't wanna trouble people.. i just wanna be myself... and for people to just understand that...

i know i m confusing... =.= don't think too much into it... i m fine.. just a little frustrated... =.=

Church camp

the church camp was .. a really good one =) a time a rest for a bit... the theme was Rise and Build... to build an intimate relationship with God.. well for me.. it really reminded me ... that everything i do.. should be for the glory of God..and maybe reemphasize that we should never rush God... maybe i was to impatient... hence i don't hear from God... i know he has a great plan in stored for my life... but i am impatient to find out... that i forgot that... its not about me... its about God's timing ..

well .. and it is very clear.. that to have an intimate relationship with God.. we need to put our pride... our everything down ... if not.. God will not be able to give you what he has in stored... well .. we have to have God's desires at heart... knowing what he wants for us... and being mindful of God... i know its hard to be mindful of God when we are busy with our studies.. and all but then... if you place God 1st.. God will surely bless you in everything that you do... "seek ye first the kingdom and his righteousness and all these things shall be given to you.. " hahaha.. which is very true..

been thinking about what i wanna do in the future... you know?? the long term goal.... well since i dunno what God's plans are... i will just have to make my plans.... and when God decides to reveal..i will just have to make way for His plans for my life =)

American Idol 2009 Finale

i might be 2 days late .. but "better late than never" i always say =) American Idol has just crowned the new American Idol~ and i think they got it right... Kris Allen deserves to win... i cannot believe is Adam Lambert won =.=... cause in my opinion.. yes Adam has a big range and strong vocals... but... can you imagine listening on the radio with all the high notes going off... i mean if you listen to Kris.. it will always be current... you can listen to his voice over and over and over.. PLUS!!! he has a cute smile... so.. hahaha i like Adam too... his hair is always fly... but its the high screams you know.. my ears are delicate...

anyways... i know Adam will be successful in the music industry... but Kris will sell more albums =) i mean come on... =.= if you compare Adam & Kris... Adam is something like KISS... when they performs together.. they sound good together... and Kris is like the current Kelly Clarkson... you compare KISS and Kelly... who is more famous... the pop genre... sad to say hahaha... but maybe Adam can change it... maybe in the near future... high screams will be a norm.. and you wont feel weird to hear it on the radio... hahaha...

oh and the 1st single is more suited for Kris lar... Adam totally doesn't suit this kinda songs... with many words and no space for his screaming.. screaming need space... long prolonged spaces.. haha... Kris sound so good in the studio version of No Boundaries !! go listen!!!

i dont think the world is ready for Adam's theatrical singing.. and his new ideas... oh.. his guy liner... =.= but!!! i don't mind his hair and when he sings without the screaming or sitar like singing... hahaha

Kris will do well in the current music industry... and he plays the guitar! and piano... and he phrases the words of the songs like a pro... makes you feel every word of the song... love it!!!

3 cheers to Kris... and FYI... i have been listening to his 1st single "No Boundaries" on loop since i started writing this post.. hahahaha.. i love his singing lar...

during the announcement... this was the most priceless moment.. i think Kris thought Adam will Win... look at the shocked face.. lol priceless...

yup i m the last of the 3 musketeers to post about our movie expedition =) last week Adeline, Kelvin and myself went and watch Sell out... and guess what?!?! we decided to watch in the dead of the night =.=.... literally... the cinema hall was empty.... this goes to show... either Malaysians don't support Malaysian Films... or !! Malaysians are hard working people and go home after a long days work =) and don't go watch midnight screenings of anything... aren't like some students... *cough* akhoo Adeline *cough* kelvin... *cough... ahahahah

so anyways... thats my 2 cents =)

overall i liked the movie.. but it was a bit artsy for me.. don't really get the ending... but i applaud the Malaysians acting in it.. and also the Malaysian director.. bravo!!! for highlighting and over exaggerate a few Malaysian habits and cultures ahahah... the aunties chasing the taxi.. was funny... hahaha.... and the musicals are fun =D.... "money..... why do you like rich people....."

retreats after retreats.. tired

the semester breaks were so short... it flow by just like that *snap*.... i did not even get to go shop till i drop... haiz~~ but i did spend time with fun people =) after the crazy exams..

the CF committee has our CPR(committee planning retreat) in Goh Tong genting... really fun... this time around it was relax and really quick.. with two new addition to the family, JC and Lam haha... anyways... in the mids of the crazy planning.. we had time to joke and laugh and be just normal humans for once...

p/s: i love the breeze in Goh Tong... just totally... cooling.. if only KL was like this everyday...

then there was the worship retreat with the Radiant Life Worship Team... haha.. RLWT.. anyways.. we went to Selesa Resort near Genting.. So... it was a really great retreat... pastor Paul came and speak for us.. and praise the lord.. the entire retreat was sponsored by our church~~ woohoo... anyways... our worship team really faced some breakthrough.. we try to make concious decisions to improve and we realise that.. hey... serving in the worship team isn't suppose to be glamourous.. its about serving God... and coming to God with a God-fearing heart cause compared to God's holiness we are nothing... but by his grace we are still able to serve.. so we should all get our act together... and serve properly... but this doesn't mean we cannot enjoy what we are doing =) we can still have fun and enjoy serving God and being in the presense of God...

The 1st Youtube Symphony Orchestra has introduced the World of Orchestra the wonders of using the internet to connect people.. and that music really does bring people together regardless of language, background, and country...

i feel this is a very good concept, giving gifted, young aspiring musicians from all around the world the chance to speak with their music.

seeing performances really encouraged me to really want to pursue music properly.. i mean.. i have always been able to play music.. but not very well.. but i totally believe that it is not too late for me to start being serious about it =)

if you are interested in music.. you should work hard on it and pursue your dream...

did you know.. i really dislike people offering advice about my lips.. i know they mean well.... like asking me to put Vaseline... or lip balm... or butter... or oil... as if i did not already went to the doctors... anyways...... i m very very very sorry if i m being harsh but seriously.... =.= its an insult to me... don't you think i feel bad enough.. having to endure with the pain... and looking in the mirror every single day... hoping that a miracle will happen... having people ask me every single day why my lips are like that... having advice thrown at me....

let me ask you.. do you like people staring at your pimple and tell you that you have a pimple on your face... of course you don't.. so.. what makes you think that telling me that i have dry lips will be any better... i seriously know you all care... seriously.. but sometimes... less in more... =)

recently.. after i turned 20 last December.. i have been having this nagging feeling that i m turning old.. and i haven't really done anything that i can account my life for... you know.. like doing some crazy stuff like bungee jumping... or saved a life... or shared the Gospel of Jesus to a million people... or been in a relationship =.= well frankly.. mostly about the not being in a relationship part... haiz~~ sadness.. i am 20 and i cannot say i have been in a relationship... AHHHHHHHH the embarrassment!! you know ... like young people nowadays get into relationship easily.. some of them last.. some of them don't... whatever... its like so easy to fall in love... if its so easy why can't it happen for me?? ... haha.. its like one of those million dollar questions...

well then i thought to myself.. maybe i am putting too much thought into it.. you know... asking myself if i set too high of a standard.. being picky and all... hence nobody fits in the range... or maybe just not pretty enough =.= maybe I'm not intelligent enough... or maybe not gentle enough... lol.. maybe its just not the right time for all this relationship thing... well i m still a student.. i'm not THAT old i guess... well i know that God has someone good installed for me... so why am i wondering all this funny things hahaha... well its just a random thought... thanks for reading anyways haha...

its been a crazy two weeks.. what with the midterm madness.. the rally rushness.. the "bring it on" frenzy.. and the people-in-my-life-ness... and female mood swings... i have been really stressed... so.... i vented in a "kinda" negative way... i ranted... i complained... i cried.. and i ate...(hence the weight...) .. i am really sorry to the people that are sacrificed in the crossfire... i some times say things that i don't mean and... it may have hurt people.. sorry lar huh.. forgive me..

well there are a lot of things to be thankful about you know...

firstly.. i need to thank God i m still alive, living, and healthy... lol that day i heard a story about a friend of somebody.. that died of exhaustion ... then we were talking about it... kelvin said that it is uncool to die of exhaustion... it got me wondering.. what would be a good way to die... hmm... dying in an accident would look ugly... i want my body to be preserved in its original condition...

NOTE: if i die.. i want to be crimated... =) for future reference... oh and i want my ashes to be scattered ... err.. where... i haven't thought about that yet...

well.. i think dying a martyr's death.. i mean.. like.. die while doing something noble... for example die while doing something for God or people..haha...

anyways... thank God that He gave me brains to study for my midterms... eventhough.. the lecturer is good for nothing... =) so hallelujah..

thank God that he gave me patience to handle the people that gave me problems... haha.. that reminds me.. today.. a car dented my car.. sad.. and i was so calm and collected about it.. i was surprise myself... if it were my old self.. maybe 3 or 5 years ago.. i would have scolded the driver.. but i was calm and just left ... haiz.. 200-300 bucks fly away~~ T__T .....

well then i thank God for creating Satay... i finally get to eat Satay... after a few months of not eating it... hahaha.... i love satay~... after the accident... i continue on my course to eat satay with Janice & Adeline... lol... bliss~~

i thank God for friends who love me the way i am... who understands and accepts my short comings.. who encourage me to excel in whatever i do..who listens to my rants... who tells me the truth even when i don't like it... who scolds me when i need it... who leaves me alone when i need alone time... =) thanks girls and guys.. you know who you are... and i m really grateful for everything... =) Hugs and tons of kisses...

Rants: why me?

its the midterms season.. and i m stressed... too many responsibilities... crazy schedules... and people around me don't seem to get it... so here i am.. complaining on my poor little blog... (sorry babe..yes i m talking to my blog) ... people don't actually read my blog so its fine... haha

anyways..the issue at hand is.. that i can't get along with people.. and someone ask me why... i thought about it actually.. maybe cause i am a person who does not compromise easily.. or i am someone who does not give in easily.. so that is why people find it very hard to work with me... i don't mean to be mean.. but that is just how i am.. haiz i know i need to change and learn to be more patient.. but some people just get on my nerves!!! don't know is it just me seeing all this people doing all this ridiculous things and i am the only human reacting upon it... (cause i am just a straight forward person) or other people also see it.. but don't do anything.. ARGH

things that get on my nerves... are like for example.. today.. there is this car.. when i m going up the promise land to get michelle wee's car... the road was narrow.. so there was 2 cars coming down.. so i stop n reversed... this car behind the 1st car.. was so impatient.. and tried to squeeze pass the 1st car.. and omg.. i was like "come on girl!?!!? whats wrong with you?! you so in the rush to go home is it.." the guy in the 1st car also look shocked =.=" crazy...

2nd thing that got on my nerves.. is also another inconsiderate human being.. who despite of knowing i have exams.. still wanna give me problem... =.=" can't you just be flexible and get over it?! then everybody can be happy and get on with their lives... but NO~~ have to make it a big problem... i just can't handle all this in a week...

3rd thing that got on my nerves.. my phone!... the keypad just gave out on me finally =.= i sent it for repair and the person said that it might take 2 weeks to repair.. thank God it is still under warranty.. but well. still.. its frustrating ... cause now i m using my old phone.. and 50% of my contacts are not with me.. so... its frustrating...

4th thing that got on my nerves this week... the stupid subjects i have to study for... i admit.. this semester i haven't been concerntrating and time just flew right pass me.. so because of the incompetence of my lecturer.. for Management Science (i finish studying for this sub.. hurray~) and Business modeling spreadsheet.. which i havn't understand the basics of the subject.. still working on it.. requires more of my time to study.. and i m frustrated..

5th thing that i cannot "tahan" is that everything seems to happen this week.. and i am emotionally tired and i just wanna hide somewhere and sleep... but i can't... sadly... nobody seems to bother... so misunderstood.. =.=

so why indeed am i so hard to work with... when in fact there are a lot of people who think i am a nice person to work with... why indeed.... as for why i am so stressed out this week.. the above are the top 5 reason why i am pissed..

last year i made new year resolutions... lets see if i actually fulfilled any?

1. Lose some weight -.-"... be healthy and fit... didn't happen... sadness.. i m just too lazy...
2. ~~Do well in my studies..~~ i think i did ok... B across the board.. with the occasional A.. haha
3. ~~Communicate with family more..~~ in a calm manner... i think i did this.. just dunno how much calmer... -.-"
4. Read the entire Bible.. (didn't fulfill this last year... lets take another shot at this) <<>
5. be more patient... ~~be less angry...~~.. err i think accomplished this is some ways... =)
6. ~~save more money.~~..spend less... haha... hows break even for that..
